    Description

    Vintage 1940's fire helmet, no cracks or damage to shell. Liner is the WW2 type web strap and leather head band suspension liner and a leather headband .The leather chin strap needs to be replaced. Rear of helmet has the D ring attached to hang the helmet. The shell appears to be intact with worn paint. The leather badge/shield is attached. Overall this helmet looks pretty nice for the age of it but, I am not an expert on these helmets and so please take a look at the detailed photos for condition.
