Vintage Antique High Eagle Fire Fireman Helmet Cairns Brothers

Late 1800's - Early 1900's Cairns and Brother's Fireman Helmet - HIGH EAGLE
This is a great looking vintage fireman helmet made by Carins & Bros in New York.  It is in quite excellent condition!  It has the rare high eagle leather marquee / emblem.  The helmet itself is metal.  It also has the classic deeply embossed brass/bronze eagle topper on the top of the helmet that attaches to the leather marquee.
As seen in the photos, the interior cloth liner and the Carins & Bros badge are also in excellent condition.
The marquee is marked "EFD"  This helmet is from the Eaton Fire Department which is a city in the Dayton / Cincinnati area.
I believe that this helmet is circa mid 1800's to early 1900's based on the construction and the high eagle marquee.
This helmet is in excellent condition and will be a worthy addition to a fire memorabilia collection.
