    Description

    This wonderfully ornate menorah features Judith beheading Hallophernes as written in the deuterocanonical Book of Judith. A limited number of these were made for the Jewish Museum. The Museum owns the original which was crafted in the 1760s by a Polish artisan. I believe this menorah is made of brass with a nickel finish. I have not attempted to polish it but the new buyer certainly can. It is in very nice condition with some wax remants in the candle holders. Measures approximately 10" tall, 10.5" long and 4" deep. It is very well made and quite heavy at nearly 8 pounds!
