    Description

    This 8" x 10" photograph was retired from a local library collection. It was part of the "75th Anniversary of Naval Aviation" collection. The Anniversary was in 1986. It will be shipped along with the cardboard mat to help protect it during shipping. (The mat is of no value).
    The label on the back reads as follows:
    "4. The Navy flying boat NC-4 arrives in Lisbon, Portugal, following the first successful transatlantic flight. The year is 1919, eight years before Lindbergh's famous solo crossing.
