The Design is influenced by Antique 19th century Menorahs and Judaic crafts from West Europe (Germany, France, Italy, Poland)
Cast and welded from solid bronze, Large size and heavy, sturdy), hand crafted in Israel and finished to perfection. The green patina finish adds vintage charm to the lamp.
Several powerful Jewish symbols are incorporated into the ornamental design, the Star of David (Magen David- keeper of israel, shield of King David) encloses a small replica of the original Temple oil menorah (with 7 branches). Two protective Lions of Judah appear below on either side of the Magen David, they are the guardians of the Holy Temple in Jerusalem, symbol of the tribe of Judah (Judea kingdom), the largest and most dominant tribe of the 12 biblical tribes of Israel.
The lamp stands elevated on four stylized legs, with eight sunken candle holders shaped as oil fonts, and one elevated at middle for the Shamosh servant light (kosher according to the Halacha, Jewish religious law).
